How the index is kept accurate
The site is emitted from one generator script, so this index, the XML sitemap and the pages themselves are produced from a single list. A page cannot exist without appearing here, and an entry here cannot point at a file that was never written. The desk re-runs an internal link check before publishing any change, resolving every relative path against the file that contains it.
